Installing Install0us using Rock instead of Cydia on your iPhone
Installing Install0us / Installous through Rock on your iPhone / iPod Touch is not much different from getting Install0us / Installous install via Cydia. You will first need to add the Install0us / Installous repo to Rock to get it on your iPhone / iPod Touch.
The new Install0us 2.5 which was previously just called Installous, now comes with a couple of new must-have features, which are: support for mult-downloads and the new ability to set your own IPA search engine as the default Home URL, freeing users from the clutches of the often slow Appulo.us website.
Follow the following Step by Step instructions to get Install0us / Installous on your iPhone using Rock.
- A Jailbroken iPhone
- Rock installed. (Select Rock in your BlackRa1n app)
Adding Install0us to your Rock repository.
Step 1: Select Rock > Manage > Manage Sources
Step 2: Click Edit followed by Add
Step 3: Fill in: http://cydia.install0us.com (the 0 is a ZERO)
Installing Install0us from Rock
Step 1: Select Rock > Manage > Manage Sources > (scroll down) install0us repository
Step 2: Click install0us
Step 3: Click Install followed by Confirm
Setting up Install0us / Installous
Step 1: Click on the Install0us icon from your iPhone / iPod Touch homescreen
Step 2: Select tab, Settings > Home URL
Step 3: Fill in http://dotdoh.com/ipasearch
Using the new Install0us / Installous
Step 1: Click on the Install0us icon from your iPhone homescreen
Step 2: Under the Browse tab select the search box.
Step 3: Search for any iPhone / iPod apps you may desire.
